Rick has been passionate about project management for many years and is an active volunteer in the Germany Chapter of the World Project Management Association PMI. As a certified and authorized PMI Instructor, Rick has been training and guiding aspiring project managers through to the successful international certification exam since 2015.
Rick is passionate about supporting participants through their CAPM® and PMP® exams. He was awarded the “PMIFC Volunteer of the Year” in 2019 for setting up a CAPM and PMP Study Group within the PMI Germany Chapter. He also helps develop the topic of project management regionally and leads the PMI GC Local Group Southwest.
Rick joined the ALVISSION EDUCATION team in October 2020 as the Project Management Theme Officer.
As a project management coach, Rick facilitates the implementation of project management with clients and coaches project managers and project staff.
Thanks to his digital and technical skills, Rick makes the trainings and study groups very interactive and entertaining with a lot of fun and great learning success.
Rick brings his strategic and tactical strengths to project management as a passionate and multiple award-winning chess player.

Prerequisites for taking the exam
- Experienced project team members
- With a university degree: 3 years of project experience.
- With high school diploma or intermediate school leaving certificate and vocational training: 5 years of project experience.
- 35 hours of training, which you prove with this training program
